The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Sienna Is Right About Nick – Adam Next To Confirm Addiction

The Young and The Restless: Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun)

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) made a surprising and sad admission. Her brother’s death from a drug overdose provided a level of insight that Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) doesn’t have.

Sienna believes Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is exhibiting some of the same signs of drug use as her late brother. It was wise for her to say something now, while there’s still a chance for everyone to help his dad.

Nick’s use of the dangerous illegal substance remains a dangerous issue. He’s been using pills as painkillers for weeks after impulsively leaving the hospital a day after he broke his femur in a car accident that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) caused.

Matt Clark Threat Persists Because Of The Legal System

What type of rational judge would allow a notorious criminal like Matt to go free after the charges that were brought against him?

Well, viewers weren’t allowed to see any challenge to whatever supposed legal authority made that decision, with Matt’s incarceration and release occurring off-screen. That was purposeful so that this storyline could play out.

Maybe there wasn’t enough hard evidence to make a serious charge stick. It could be that Matt used money he squirreled away to pay a good attorney or buy a judge.

The above hasn’t been the focus, with the Newman family’s attention distracted by Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) stealing Newman Enterprises and Nick enduring intolerable physical and emotional pain. So, Matt was let out of jail and is in an unknown location where he’s continued to torment his enemies.

The Young and The Restless: Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow)

Nick Newman Determined To End Cycle

Nick has long seen himself as his family’s protector. He inherited voracity from his father, with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) understandably needing to fend off many foes who have attempted to exploit his wife’s and children’s lofty position across many soapy years.

In this go-round, Nick feels that Matt has to be permanently dealt with, implying that he’ll kill him. Sienna’s decision to see Victory privately in the past weeks led to Nick being stopped from likely reaching that dark goal.

This time, Nick reached out to his brother. Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) input and support led to that request being made and Adam accepting Nick’s offer to go with him to see Riza Thompson (Tina Casciani) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Adam Newman Deals With Multiple Threats

Adam has come a long way in the past few years. Today, he’s a trusted member of the Newman family. In 2019, when he was found in Vegas, Adam had amnesia, called himself Spider, and was a professional card player whose handler was Riza.

Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), Sharon, and Nick are concerned that Adam might be psychologically damaged by revisiting Vegas. Adam thinks not and wants to help Nick find and deal with Matt.

Sienna’s instinct about Nick is right. At the same time, his desire to have Adam by his side indicates a purposeful self-restraint. Grossman’s character will probably also be able to confirm that Nick has a drug problem, which should eventually lead to that issue also being solved. Stopping Matt will help all involved, but surely won’t be an easy fix.
