The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Cane Reunites With Lily — Unaware of Victor’s Kidnapping Plot
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Cane Ashby (BillyFlynn) will have an emotional reunion with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and the twins after being released by Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
The stage is set for an emotional reunion, with the former couple finally confessing their real feelings for each other.
The one little piece of information that Cane doesn’t know is that Lily offered herself to Victor, prompting him to “kidnap” Lily and the twins, alongside Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). It’s unlikely that Lily will tell Cane that she offered herself to Victor as part of the plan to get Newman Enterprises and Chancellor Industries back into Newman hands.
Victor’s Kidnapping Scheme
Victor promised Lily two things in exchange for her cooperation in the kidnapping scheme. He would help her take Cane down by getting control of Chancellor and Newman Enterprises. Once Victor takes control of his companies again, he alluded to giving Lily a “high-level position” at Chancellor.
The scheme hit a snag when Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) drugged Cane and took control of Newman Enterprises and Chancellor. Now, Cane cannot offer the companies as payment for his family’s safe return. It is definitely a worst-case scenario for Cane.
The good news is that Phyllis acts quickly to ensure Jack’s safe return home. She is willing to do anything to bring him home.
She also requires Lily and the twins’ safe homecoming. It isn’t clear yet what she must pay to get Jack, Lily, and the twins home, but the Y&R spoilers suggest that Newman Enterprises is likely the hefty price tag.
The Emotional Reunion
The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Cane and Lily’s reunion will change the course of their strained relationship. Lily doesn’t trust Cane for obvious reasons, but once she sees how far he was willing to go to get her home, it changes the way she sees him. She also notes how worried he was about her and the twins.
The ordeal prompts Lily to examine her true feelings for Cane, prompting her to talk about them with him. The change is music to Cane’s ear, who has been trying to get Lily to show some vulnerability with him for months.
