The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that some strange Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) dialogue just got fans’ attention, so what’s up with Electra Forrester’s (Laneya Grace) aunt? It seems like Ivy’s point of view is about to become important, so let’s talk about a clue Electra offered up.

In the December 31 episode, Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) voiced some excitement about Electra spending more nights at the beach house. Electra mentioned that she’d have to run the idea by Ivy and added that her aunt was more “traditional.”

That comment immediately left many viewers scratching their heads! Based on Ivy’s own history, it doesn’t seem like she really has these traditional views that B&B’s pushing now.

Electra certainly had no problem spilling to Ivy about losing her virginity to Will, so when did this “traditional” Ivy suddenly become an issue?

Furthermore, Electra is a grown woman who’s capable of deciding when she wants to spend the night at her boyfriend’s house. Ivy doesn’t get to dictate that, so it’s odd that Electra is acting like she needs permission.

There must be a reason why B&B is setting up this angle, so will Ivy indeed throw a fit over Electra sleeping over at Will’s more often?

Maybe Ivy will assume this will lead to a full-blown living together decision and urge Electra to pump the brakes. Ivy might think this is happening way too fast and caution Electra about rushing the next step with Will.

As a result, Electra might dial down the number of nights she spends at the beach house and leave Dylan (Sydney Bullock) alone on the property with Will more than she previously anticipated.

Although Electra doesn’t view Dylan as a romantic threat right now, that could change as Dylan and Will grow closer.

Since Dylan is staying in Will’s guest house until she can get back on her feet, this could lead to them bonding even when Electra’s not around.

Whatever the case, it was baffling for Electra to mention “traditional” Ivy and set up her potential disapproval regarding Electra’s own extra nights at Will’s place.
