Meghan McCain Announces Birth Of Third Child
The View alum Meghan McCain and Ben Domenech definitely knew how to get the year off to a great start. In fact, they welcomed another baby into the family. Read on for all the details.
A New Year Baby
McCain shared on Instagram that their third child arrived at the start of the year. Named Ransom McCain Domenech, the baby is a little boy. The safe arrival of their new son means that now, Meghan has a family of five. The sweet baby will get to share his life with Liberty Sage, 5, and Clover Jade, a two-year-old, both girls.
The baby came in the wee hours of the morning, and it seems that Meghan McCain couldn’t be happier. Obviously, childbirth took it out of her, but it’s hard not to feel delighted. The View alum said in her Instagram caption:
We are absolutely over the moon to share that our son, Ransom McCain Domenech, has finally arrived at the crack of dawn on January 2nd at 9lbs 2 oz. We are all blissed out over the moon. Everyone is happy, healthy and exhausted. We’re so grateful to the incredible doctors and medical staff who took such wonderful care of all of us.
The Pregnancy Announcement
During a podcast with Usha Vance in June 2025, Meghan revealed her pregnancy. At the time, she confessed that the thought of raising a boy made her slightly anxious. However, she was raised with lots of siblings by her dad, the late Senator John McCain, and his wife, Cindy.
With two daughters and a little boy, no doubt Meghan McCain will have her hands very full. Still, she’s always been busy doing something or other. So, it’s not that she’ll disappear from view altogether.
