Clearly, we are talking about Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) as all evidence points to the fact that he keeps on patronizing his father, Eric Forrester (John McCook). Ridge Is Patronizing Eric
During the most recent episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Ridge showed a lot of concern for his father after finding out from Donna Logan that he hasn’t been acting like himself lately.
Well, anyone who has been paying attention to what’s been going on will know that Eric is basically being pushed out the door at Forrester Creations. Even though this is part of his legacy, Ridge believes it’s time for his father to step back.
But for Eric, he doesn’t see it this same way. He lives and breathes the fashion world. After all, he’s done this for so many years and he believes that he’s still got that special touch that has always made Forrester Creations one of the top fashion houses in the world.
That’s why it seemed a little odd for Ridge to wonder why his father has been so “off” lately when it’s obvious that he put him in that position himself.
Eric wouldn’t be this upset about his life, both personally and professionally, if Ridge didn’t intervene and try to tell his father what’s best for him when he himself doesn’t have all the answers.

Now, as far as what’s next for Eric Forrester remains to be seen, but if there’s anything that we’ve learned about him over the years, it’s that he’s not someone who is going to just let it all go or walk away for that matter.
