The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Victor And Nikki Fighting Before Christmas Is Wrong

The Young And The Restless

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) was surprised and hurt. So, it wasn’t surprising that he lashed out verbally at his true love.

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) has thought her way into a box. She recently told Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) about her created dilemma.

If Victor doesn’t stop going after Jabot, intending to ruin them, she will leave him. Relaying that demand to her three-time husband was understandably seen as a threat. That’s why he told her to get out of the Ranch.

No Appetite For Fighting At This Time Of The Year

Braeden and Scott have been interviewed many times over the years. Both actors have said that they don’t like it when their characters are fighting.

Remarried since 2013 in real-time means that Y&R’s most well-known couple has likely been back together well past a decade in soap-time. But there is a real possibility that they could at least separate for more than a handful of days.

But will the writing staff force the fans to witness what would be a depressing story during the Christmas season that soon becomes the New Year?

Jack Abbott Is Nikki Newman’s Friend

Victor detests Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) for many reasons. Chief among them is that Jack holds a permanent place in Nikki’s heart.

Among many women Victor fooled around with, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) rivaled Nikki the most. She is his second greatest love and the mother of Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway).

The late Hope Wilson (Signy Coleman) ranks third and is Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman mother. Julia Newman (Meg Bennett) also deserves a mention because she was Victor’s first wife, having arrived in Genoa City, Wisconsin, in 1980 with him.

The Young and The Restless: Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman)

In Victor’s confused calculation, it’s okay for him to hold certain women in high esteem, including Ashley. Nikki is supposed to understand that while also being expected to keep Jack at arm’s length.

For The Last Time, Jack Abbott Isn’t To Blame

Nikki had alcohol forced into her system by the real villain, Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk). Jack was Nikki’s sponsor, who panicked when meeting with her in a Genoa City Athletic Club suite.

Victor decided to believe that Jack purposely ingested an illicit substance, which was a desperate attempt to catch Nikki’s attention and force her to stop drinking, almost killed her. It didn’t, with Jack being the one to land in the hospital.

Jack’s efforts are part of the reason why she willed herself away from booze, but, as has often been the case, Victor used that pretense to justify going after Jack. The fight between Braeden’s and Thomas Scott’s characters just days before Christmas is unseemly and hopefully will turn soon.

But for that to happen, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will have to successfully steal the artificial intelligence program she hacked and gave to Victor. If she can do that, Victor will temporarily be more enraged than ever, but will lose his ability to determine Jabot’s fate.
