General Hospital Spoilers: Laura’s Pep Talk to Lulu Warmed Fans’ Hearts, But It Won’t Work on Alexis
General Hospital Spoilers reveal Laura Collins (Genie Francis) was stern with Lulu Falconeri (Alexa Havins) this week when she stroked her hand and urged her to recover from this four-year nap she’s been taking.
In light of Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) death, Laura is feeling a bit of pressure to make that liver donation count. Sam’s family is grieving and Laura is feeling immense guilt that her daughter is alive because of Sam — because of Sam’s death, in a way.
While Lulu waking up won’t bring Sam back, it may bring some comfort to those who have lost Sam that her death had some meaning and managed to reinvigorate Lulu with life again.
It’s an honest effort Laura is giving it with Lulu, but will it really matter to the people who would rather Sam have lived, even if Lulu had perished?
General Hospital Spoilers — Lulu Wakes Up This Month?
Rumor has it Lulu is slated to wake up sometime this month, and we won’t be surprised if it happens around or on Thanksgiving Day — giving everyone a little something extra to be thankful for and instilling a sense of peace that Sam’s death wasn’t entirely in vain.
Is it too on the nose to have her come out of this coma just weeks after the transplant that took Sam’s life and not long after her mother gave her a stern talking to about it?
Perhaps, and it will likely dawn on Dante and others that there could have been a very different outcome had Lulu just woken up before Sam died.
GH Spoilers Hint Dante is Stuck in the Middle
Dante is going to be over the moon when Lulu wakes up. His son will have a mother again. He’ll get to tell Lulu how important she is to him, though he may reserve all of the parts about his residual feelings for her now in the wake of his fiance’s death.
But he’ll have to walk the tightrope between families — catering to the joy he feels with the Spencer clan while also dealing with the grief he still feels and knows is weighing heavily on Sam’s mother, sisters, and children.
General Hospital Spoilers — Alexis Continues to Grieve
Alexis may not see the silver lining in Sam’s death quite the way that others choose to. Laura must know that there is nothing she can say to make it better, and that everything is too raw right now to convey her support to Alexis.
After all, if Sam hadn’t saved Lulu, Sam would be alive and Lulu would be gone. Ultimately, Alexis knows that’s not the outcome Laura would choose, which means she’ll be at peace with Sam’s death if it was a means to getting Lulu back in the end.
As for Alexis, watching another mother be rewarded with her healthy daughter while she had to pay for that with her own daughter isn’t going to sit well. Keep checking back with us for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
