Jovi Dufren Evacuates Yara and Mylah From Hurricane Milton
90 Day Fiance stars Jovi Dufren and Yara Zaya moved to Florida from New Orleans. With Hurricane Milton promising devastation, the TLC stars left Miami ahead of the hurricane making landfall near Siesta Keyes south of Tampa Bay.
Jovi Dufren Takes No Chances With His Family
When Yara Zaya lived in New Orleans, she wasn’t comfortable with scary hurricanes. However, the couple moved to Miami, Florida, and hurricanes often hit that area of the USA. So, with Hurricane Milton approaching, Mylah’s dad flew his family out.
Miami, where Jovi Dufren lives, is not directly in the path of the storm that made landfall on Wednesday night. However, as the crow flies, it is not far from the predicted track: about 220 miles. Per Sun Sentinel, “Milton’s large wind field will spread its devastating effects well north and south of the storm’s center, including nearly unsurvivable storm surge of over 10 feet.”
Yara Zaya & Mylah Are Safe
On Wednesday, The 90 Day Fiance star took to his Instagram stories and shared some images of Yara Zaya and Mylah in a plane. In his caption, he said, “Trying to get away from this hurricane” Next, he shared a screenshot that showed the family had gone to Los Angeles.
In the second photo, Jovi Dufren told his TLC fans that they had made it to safety. While the 90 Day Fiance stars are fortunate to have the money to fly out, and many other people don’t, at least authorities don’t need to worry about them.
TLC Star Loren Brovarnik & Her Family Stayed
90 Day Fiance fans saw that Loren Brovarnik, Alexei, and their three kids intended to stay in Florida. They are thought to live in Hallandale Beach, Broward County. Also south of the predicted track for for Hurrican Milton, perhaps they feel safe there. Certainly, when Loren posted about the approaching storm, she didn’t seem as concerned as Yara Zaya and her husband.
Apart from Jovi Dufren, other 90 Day Fiance stars thought to still live in Florida include Russ and Paola Mayfield, Robert Springs, and Anny Fransisco. Meanwhile, TLC alum Jen Arnold from The Little Couple has family in the St. Petersburg, area of Florida. They lost property but survived the recent landfall of Hurricane Helene.
