The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Victor Works All Angles – Kyle Lacks Self-Awareness

The Young and The Restless: Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) sees Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) as another human chess piece. He might be more than a pawn, but surely, he is not the king. That’s Victor’s role alone.

Kyle believes he can handle Victor’s manipulative ways. Mealor’s character has convinced himself that accepting the Glissade offer and co-heading it with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) is a great business move.

However, Kyle’s lack of self-awareness is one of the vulnerabilities that the chess master is exploiting. Victor is exacerbating Kyle’s irrational anger against his parents.

The Moustache fully intends to keep the Abbott family on edge as a distraction point. Jabot and Abbott-Chancellor are and remain more viable takedown targets.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Can’t See The Game

The imagery and implication of the gorgeous chess set in the Newman Ranch main living room persists. Braeden’s enduring, iconic character is who he is because of his intellect and sheer force of will.

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has always been Victor’s lesser foil because, while smart, he is not a brilliant businessman. Jack has demonstrated bursts of amoral behavior but has never reached the low level of dastardliness Victor revels in.

In this storyline, Kyle is one of two knights Victor is moving across the board. Kyle and Audra have more recognized usefulness than a simple pawn, like Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), Victor’s reclaimed target.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – To Jack Abbott Through Billy Abbott

Victor abhors Jack, having nearly killed Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) when she was in the throes of a bender. Victor’s assessment was overly dramatic, with Jack being far closer to death by having purposely taken pills to shock Nikki out of her fall off the wagon.

The Young and The Restless: Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor)

Revealing details to Devon Winters (Bryton James), with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) present at Newman Enterprises, was purposeful. As anticipated, Devon relayed that intel to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), who then told Billy.

Even though Billy has taken Lily’s advice and accepted a non-public role at AC, his nature is bound to express itself. Like Victor, viewers wait for Billy’s impulsive nature to emerge and force an error that allows Victor to orchestrate a takeover.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman As Viable As Ever

Victor is no longer a young man or even a middle-aged guy. He lives in the twilight of the arguably most extraordinary career in Genoa City, Wisconsin’s history.

But Victor will continue to let everyone know that he is the winner until he passes over to the next world, indeed heading downward in Jack and Billy’s opinion. Victor does not presume victory will happen by osmosis. Instead, he analyzes the human elements in his game of daytime life and then acts with no regard for collateral damage.

All who underestimate Victor’s viability will be taken off the chessboard. Kyle’s bravado has closed his eyes to that reality, knowing that he is likely to lose by the end of this game.
