The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Hope’s Desperate Move for Deacon’s Well-Being with Brooke’s Help
The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates tease Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) will be very worried about her father once she hears his shocking claims.
Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) will open up about the cremated body not being that of Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) because of the ten toes!
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Hope’s Reaction Is “Dad Needs Help!”
Hope’s reaction to what Deacon saw is similar to that of John “Finn” Finnegan; (Tanner Novlan) she’ll think her dad is stuck in such a desperate loop of grief he’s insane!
The whole reason that Hope went to the memorial Deacon held for Sheila at Il Giardino was to be a source of support for him, and Finn, considering his grief valid.
She’d already been worried about how he would hold up, considering he was so besotted with her, most thinking he couldn’t see the monster behind the makeup.
Now he’s convinced that Sheila is alive and the woman he paid to cremate was an imposter-and his agitation over others not believing him makes him even more devastated.
Hope thinks the best thing for Deacon would be mental health treatment-and an intervention may be needed; the first stage of grief is denial, but Deacon’s is a whole new level!
B & B Spoilers: Hope Shares Her Concerns Deacon’s Spiraling Out Of Control
Hope can see beyond Deacon’s strong denial what could happen when he realizes the truth-he could even despair to the point of trying to take his own life.
Yet, acceptance of death is also one of the stages of grief, but there’s no way to force someone into grief counseling, which would be more appropriate.
Hope may decide to share her concerns with her mother, who still cares about Deacon even though she and he haven’t been involved for years.
Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) will likely be shocked and agree that an intervention is necessary; this may be one time she wishes Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) was still in town!
They’ll start with an intervention of caring family and friends, and make sure Finn’s involved-he may be able to assist with a psych hold at the hospital if one becomes necessary.
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Judicial Commitments Have Restrictions
Sadly, Brooke and Hope, and not even Finn, can actually force Deacon into a psych ward just because he is in a strong denial or perhaps hallucinated ten toes on that corpse.
They can stage an intervention to try and force Deacon to see he needs mental health care, but unless he’s a danger to himself or others they can’t commit him.
Sheila was in fact committed several times, and he may resist treatment because of her horror stories of psychiatric hospitals, although kind Taylor may be brought up as a good example.
Hope, with Brooke and Finn backing her up will do her best to convince Deacon to at least get some good grief counseling if nothing else. And she’ll continue to support her broken-hearted dad until he convinces Finn of his claims; and then they’ll go on the hunt for the real Sheila.
