Nate will likely speak with this specialist about the new breakthroughs that Stephanie played up.

Since Stephanie feels like there’s a good possibility that Nate’s hand could be fixed, this could open the door to Nate returning to what he does best.

Although Nate ultimately made peace with his inability to perform surgery following his hand injury, it wasn’t easy.

To this day, Nate still misses the thrill of being in the operating room and helping people heal.

Despite Nate’s efforts to pretend he’s satisfied with working with his family at Winters, business just isn’t his passion.

It makes more sense to slide Nate back into medical storylines instead, especially now that the hospital set is back up and we’ve got Stephanie as Genoa City Memorial Hospital’s new chief of staff.

It feels like the show’s leaning into hospital drama again, which always brings more excitement than the usual corporate stuff.

Nate can hopefully keep the hospital hot plots going strong once he inevitably has a cutting-edge procedure.

If all goes well, Nate’s surgeon can repair the damage and make it so Nate’s on the path to resuming his own work as a surgeon, too.

Since Nate has been longing for a comeback in medicine deep down, his life is seemingly about to head in a very positive direction.

Nate may end up incredibly grateful to Stephanie for recommending this surgeon and giving him a shove back into the career he truly wants.

Stephanie can tell what Nate really desires at his core, so he may thank her once it all works out.
