The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Adam’s Guilty Deal Sparks Victor’s Explosive Fury

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will never forget about Ava Newman, the child he and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) were going to have.
Their daughter died during childbirth, which left a hole in both parents’ hearts but also forged a bond between them forever.
Sally was surprised when Adam mentioned. that Ava was the reason why he wanted to make good on the deal she offered his father for Newman Media.
In Adam’s proposed rearrangement, she will receive full payment for what was a Newman Enterprise property.
Adam believes he can deceive the master, meaning his father, into believing that he wrestled Newman Media from Sally. That plan, as has been the case with so many other family members, seems sure to fail.
Newman Mixed Media’s Trail
Adam once ran Newman Media. Then he decided to leave the company and to break from Sally, falsely claiming that he never loved her.
Sally took the helm and did a solid job, but eventually she was out the door. Her new best friend, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), became Sally’s pick to co-head what Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) stole from Victor when seizing Newman Enterprises.
Victor didn’t get Newman Media back but planned to do so when he recently forced Phyllis to turn his business over to him.
He rejected Sally’s offer to pay her in exchange for Newman Media, which makes Adam’s freelance effort unwise.
Sally Spectra Was Loved Completely
Grossman’s character broke Sally’s heart and needed a year-plus to regain her trust until betraying her confidence again. The period following the loss of Ava led to Adam and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) unexpectedly reuniting.

Chelsea was with Billy Abbott (Jason Thomson) at the time. He and Sally then formed a pairing that was opportunistic and very soapy. However, they’ve made it work, with an engagement and a baby on the way.
Yet, the bond Adam and Chelsea share through their son, Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), is unbreakable. So, despite his love for Sally, which was real, he couldn’t deny the enduring spark with Chelsea, and they reunited.
Victor Newman Always Gets What He Wants
Victor is in no mood to compromise. Has he ever been?
So, learning what Adam did will infuriate him. That’s likely to happen sooner rather than later, with Adam suffering some form of punishment.
Already feeling alienated, Adam made this deal with Sally as a form of payback. That wasn’t smart because it took a lot of effort on both his and Victor’s part to reestablish trust.
Victor surely had something meaningful in mind for Adam when he reclaimed Newman Enterprises. But his youngest son’s impatience reemerged, with mid-summer dramatics in motion.
It’s fair for all viewers to wonder if Adam’s deal with Sally will go through and if it does, how Victor responds to his ever-prodigal son.
