Finn is a heartfelt guy who fell in love with his wife the moment he laid eyes on her.
Devoted viewers recall that happening in the hospital after Steffy was involved in a second accident.
It was reckless because she was on a motorcycle, which provides little to no protection for any rider and also endangers any motorist when the bikers ride with brazen abandon.
Steffy has a cold outlook. But Finn understands what Sheila doesn’t. It wasn’t that she and Steffy had typical misunderstandings, or that they competed for Finn’s affections.

A great storyline, not just a good one, would have Steffy coming to better grips with her PTSD by seeing the goodness that radiates from today’s Sheila.
Sure, it will be natural if Steffy remains certain about Sheila’s intentions for a long time. But incremental steps would make good summer television.
Better seasonal fare could happen when Steffy, Finn, and Sheila are in Monaco in the coming weeks, as teasers indicate.
Maybe that’s when Steffy realizes some form of epiphany, or if not that dramatic, simply realizes that Sheila’s heart beats too.
