The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Phyllis’ Tight Position Is Her Fault – Victor’s Proof Is Dangerous

The Young and The Restless: Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) finally showed compassion. In so doing, she’s opened the door to forgiveness.

While Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has often offered compassion in the moment, he’s often centered his mind in the aftermath of great drama and continued whatever targeted path he originally intended.

Victor wants Phyllis to pay for what she’s done. He’s also after Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), and that could help her. If she’s being honest, Phyllis knows she needs it.

Cane Ashby Is The Origin Story Rat

Without Cane, Phyllis wouldn’t have been able to steal Newman Enterprises. The artificial intelligence program she used was his creation, developed by his Arabesque minions, which allowed Cane to target the elite of Genoa City, Wisconsin.

Victor got his hands on the program when Phyllis gave it to him. But she later took control of it and turned it on the Moustache, who was its host.

It’s soapy justice that the faked electronic documents Phyllis created to make it appear as though she had taken legal control of Newman Enterprises have been reversed.

Victor financed an AI team of his own, and they built a doomsday machine that he used to create fake emails about her colluding with Cane and Billy.

Billy Abbott Has A More Pressing Issue

Billy and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) are the IT couple, if that dated reference is still understood. Suffice it to be, another dated string of wordsmith words, they are having a baby and are thrilled.

That means Billy can’t be hauled off to jail. He could, but doesn’t want to be, because of the stress that would apply to the mother of his latest child.

Billy did nothing overtly illegal when meeting and talking with Cane in months gone by. He absolutely didn’t conspire with Phyllis because, as devoted fans recall, they clashed from the start, with Cane often playing referee between them.

Victor could easily use Phyllis to provide whatever dirt is needed to slap him down legally. But Cane is the bigger target, and she’s switched to being a Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) now.

Victor Newman Regains Control And Then Some

Getting his power back is step one. Step two involves punishing those who went against him and using whomever to make that happen.

Victor can multitask. So, Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) health crisis, which has been teased as severe headaches, won’t stop her estranged husband from pursuing vengeance.

Phyllis put herself in a tight position by doing what no one else has ever been able to do. But Victor can provide her with an opportunity to avoid the jail cell he wants to put her in.
