For many The Bold and the Beautiful viewers, Electra could have been a great heroine because that’s what the show needs right now. But instead, she’s just someone who makes fans want to turn off the show then turn it back on.

Some even commented with, “The moment Dylan moves in, she loses a lot of the growth. Her confrontal nature to address problem instead of ignore them gone as several times she ignores problems either Ivy, Dylan, RJ and especially Will and just don’t talk to any of them.”

Another critic of the show wrote, “I think the writers kinda realize they wrote Electra in a way that make her to outgrow others especially Will but during the breakup they were trying to experiment with new pairings like RJ who while a bit too forward does strangely give Electra something she need to grow that Will can’t give her.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Basically they want Electra to be in a certain way than what they initially wanted. Rather than a character focus on growing and claiming back her agency, they want her to be the little sister of the office.”

“Pretty similar to Hope and so they took away all most of her Steffy traits.”
