The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Carter Sees Disaster Coming – Logan’s Attack Leaves Forrester Reeling

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) is trying to be the voice of fiscal reason. But Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) comeback has been prioritized over money matters.

The ballyhooed boomerang of Eric to Logan and back to Forrester Creations created an explosion in the fashion world. It also elevated what would normally have been a niche startup into a real rival.

Logan gained millions of dollars in free publicity by having Eric throw what amounted to a temper tantrum.

His falling-out with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), which was arguably Eric’s major misinterpretation stemming from his ego issues, allowed Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) to help Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) realize their shared fashion dream.

The Fall Of The House Of Forrester

Not quite. It’s not that FC will collapse if Eric’s line doesn’t hit or is only modestly received.

The Forrester family business is well-heeled and has plenty of gravitas in the rag trade to secure needed funds. So, even if the Couture line falters, FC shouldn’t file for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy this summer.

But a fiscal crunch could result because Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) bolted to Logan.

That leaves the company with no imminent backup plan and its most experienced supportive designer, Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz), to be positioned to leave FC as well.

Zende Forrester Dominguez Compounds Issues?

Zende has reached a crossroads but doesn’t know it. He is elated because Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) just announced that Hope for the Future, which bears Zende’s full marks, will follow the release of Eric’s line.

What Steffy doesn’t know is that Hope already left FC and signed an apparently binding contract with Logan.

Carter may challenge the legality of that agreement, which could prevent Hope from working for Katie.

If Hope has no legal barrier to working for Logan, then FC has no HFTF line. That means Zende is stymied and will revert to his flummoxed state.

He could leave for Logan to decide that loyalty to his family supersedes personal ambition, contrasting with the major gamble Hope just took.

This storyline kisses B&B’s rich history of family conflict. Pitting the Forresters, Logans, and Spencers in conflict is a master stroke, with the rapidly evolving tale having legs for many months.

This arc rearranged the deck chairs, with various characters taking sides and preparing for fights against each other and family versus family. The heart of daytime is conflict and its striving toward climax.

No resolutions are anywhere in sight as Carter signals that FC needs to score a major success, playing off Eric’s return to the company he founded. But Logan is rising and is ready to reveal another sensational coup.
