The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Brooke’s Handshake Agreement Is Fake – Katie Determined To Win

The Bold and The Beautiful: Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom)

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) believes she made a breakthrough.

But the post-slap handshake agreement with Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) was an intentionally veiled act.

Viewers knew exactly what Katie meant when she steered the end of the conversation with her sister to family matters.

The head of Logan said that it was okay for Forrester Creations to hire as many Forresters as they wanted, and Brooke agreed.

But Katie said that also meant it was okay for Logan to hire as many Spencers as she wanted. Brooke was in agreement, without recognizing that Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) falls into that category.

Brooke Logan Forrester Has Lost Her Edge

Maybe Katie is hungrier or simply more determined to play hard. Whatever the factor, Brooke has lost her instinctive edge.

As was true with Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) mishandling of Eric Forrester (John McCook), Brooke bungled Hope’s desire to remain at FC. Viewers recall that Hope pitched her mother on becoming Ridge’s co-Chief Executive Officer, which Lang’s character followed through on.

Ridge rejected the idea, but Brooke made her husband promise to champion Hope’s cause in relaunching Hope for the Future. When that didn’t happen, Hope became disillusioned and decided that her mother didn’t support her and also defaulted to being loyal to Ridge.

Hope Logan Spencer Is The Next Salvo

Brooke continues to underestimate her youngest sister. She, like Ridge, believes that Logan is an upstart with no chance of succeeding.

They aren’t even considering that Logan is a rapidly rising rival. Part of that miscalculation involves their forgetting that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) has a major influence on what’s happening.

He encouraged Hope’s acquisition, with Katie resisting Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) idea. But then Katie had time to consider limitations and realized that Hope was experiencing the same shoddy treatment at FC that she received before opting to leave and start Logan.

Inking Hope to a deal is designed to garner major buzz for Logan, as it again uses a Forrester-linked player. But Katie’s strategy has more than one leg.

Katie Logan Spencer Wants To Teach A Lesson

Katie wants to teach Brooke a lesson and intends for it to be hard. Securing Hope is a direct strike at Brooke’s heart, and Katie anticipates it will drive her oldest sister over the edge.

Bill believes in a win-at-all-costs business philosophy because that’s how he’s built Spencer Publications. His personal investment in Logan involves his remarriage to Katie and their being fully in sync about personal and business goals.

The Forresters, including Brooke, Ridge, and Eric, aren’t prepared for what’s coming. Their fashion house is iconic, but it will need to respond with ferocity rather than expecting company history to keep it on top forever.
