We definitely didn’t see this coming at all. General Hospital star Kirsten Storms, who is best known for her role as Maxie Jones on the hit ABC soap, just publicly lashed out at her ex-husband, Days of Our Lives alum Brandon Barash, on social media. As many of our loyal readers are aware of by now, Brandon was forced to take a restraining order out on Kirsten a few months back for the safety of his family.
The couple share a daughter, Harper, but she’s been staying with her dad and his family while Kirsten has been working out her mental health issues.
Well, Kirsten has been relatively quiet since TMZ broke the news about the restraining order. But all of that changed when she took to her Instagram account to set the record straight about a few things.
For the last several months, Kirsten has insisted that someone has been trying to break into her home in Tennessee. Not only that, but she also claims that someone has been tampering with her Wifi and has access to her personal data.
Kirsten said on Instagram that the restraining order is just one side of the story. Not only that, but she also hinted that she won’t be coming back to General Hospital anytime soon because she’s now more focused on her own safety and of course, the well-being of her daughter, Harper.
This is certainly disappointing news for many General Hospital fans who were hoping that she would return to the canvas sooner rather than later.
But at this point, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen anytime in the near future.
Now, what is really going on between Kirsten and Brandon, no one really knows.
So far Kirsten Storms herself has not made any additional comments about the matter just yet. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.
