The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Ridge And Steffy Have Work To Do – Fashion Defections Mounting

The Bold and The Beautiful: that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood)

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) survived a tough moment that his wife forced him into. But the intertwined business side of his life remains in flux.

Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) believes her family’s crises significantly lessened when Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) deferred to Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) wishes to end their marriage and when Eric Forrester (John McCook) returned to the fold. However, she and Ridge remain at the forefront of a family war that’s unfolding.

Forrester Creations is a fashion behemoth. Logan is an upstart that the Forresters believe got a lucky break by having Eric offer his designs for its debut collection. Yet, the legacy company that FC represents is in the midst of suffering a steady drain of talent.

Hope Logan Spencer Provides Second Act

Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) didn’t pursue Eric. The reverse was true.

When Ridge, Steffy, and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) could no longer deny that they shifted to fully blaming Katie and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) for taking advantage of Eric. That slanted view covers that FC alienated its co-founder and Chairman Emeritus.

The same scenario repeated with Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle), in terms of disrespect. Brooke supports her daughter, as proven by her only asking Ridge to revive Hope For The Future after he rejected her appeal to replace Steffy as his co-Chief Executive Officer.

Ridge is straddling a middle ground, allowing Steffy to take the lead in telling Hope that HFTF is paused but not permanently shelved. Yet, Hope sees Steffy’s explanations as dismissive.

The Bold and The Beautiful: Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang)

Katie Logan Spencer Needs A Second Act

Being on top in this particular industry is fickle. A great first collection, which included the family drama where Eric temporarily turned on his clan, added to incalculable buzz.

Eric’s fleeting desire to prove a point to Ridge elevated Logan far above what any other collection by any other designer would have done. But that moment is quickly fading, and more rags are needed in this trade to keep Logan relevant rather than becoming yesterday’s news.

Assume that Hope decides to leave FC. At this point in the plot, why wouldn’t she?

In the above plot path, Hope is still working with her family. Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is there, Katie is her aunt and stepmother-in-law, Bill is her father-in-law, and Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) is her brother. So, those factors should help influence her move.

Brooke Logan Forrester Provides Cover

Everyone at Logan has been talking about Brooke’s anticipated reaction if Hope jumps from FC. It is that response that can provide cover to Ridge and Steffy.

Ridge is a co-CEO with Steffy, yet he’s allowed her opinion of Hope’s line to hold sway. Steffy appears to have a sound business strategy in mind in recommending HFTF be paused, but was also feeding off her longstanding grudge with Hope, as evidenced by the condescending belief that Noelle’s character has no choice but to work for FC.

Brooke will certainly let Katie have it, telling anyone who will hear her that Tom’s character and Bill exploited Hope’s emotions.

That reaction will shift focus away from Ridge and Steffy’s missteps and self-centered communications with others.
