The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Victor’s Claim Of Leniency Is Suspicious – Phyllis Forced Out

The Young and The Restless: Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) summoned Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) to the Ranch. That, in and of itself, was questionable.

The great man, with that moniker, doubted in recent months due to all that’s happened, had an agenda. Doesn’t he always?

Victor told Michael his exact plan of a two-pronged attack. Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) top executives, the heads of her departments at the rebranded Summers Conglomerate, would all be exiting the company she stole en masse.

Then, Victor will use a new artificial intelligence program that was built for him by an industry leader to prove Phyllis stole Newman Enterprises from him.

Michael Baldwin Used As A Messenger

Braeden’s character has been upset with Michael since shortly after Ian Ward (Ray Wise) faked his death. Of course, no one in Genoa City, Wisconsin, with the possible exception of Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk), knows that Ian is alive.

Michael became persona non grata to Victor after a series of perceived loyalty failures. Le Blanc’s character, a longtime Newman Enterprises fixer, feels that Victor is the father figure he always needed and eventually submits himself for forgiveness, which was hard-earned.

So, it appears that Victor is again testing Michael’s trustworthiness by telling him that the company his wife, Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey Bregman), just joined is going south fast.

Phyllis Summers Assumed Forever Fantasy

Assuming that Victor wasn’t going to be able to strike back wasn’t sustainable. Viewers have been wondering why he wasn’t able to craft a plan sooner than now, but realize that this unique plot had to play out.

The Young and The Restless: Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)

While Phyllis’ accomplishment was apparently laudable, her efforts were also criminal. She quite literally used an AI program that she stole from Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) to then steal Victor’s life’s work.

Her bold strategy has to be praised on a certain level because few, if any, people have ever even attempted to take what Victor had. She accomplished the seemingly impossible goal but now faces his conditioned wrath.

Why Would Victor Newman Let His Enemy Off The Hook?

Phyllis is an extended part of Victor’s family. She’s Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) ex-wife and the mother of his daughter, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).

The blood tie is a factor that is a consideration, assuming Victor was being honest with Michael. Although he could have been hoping Michael would tell Lauren, who would relay that demand to Phyllis.

Victor’s goal is to get Newman Enterprises back as quickly as possible. What happens to Phyllis after that, including whatever terms she has to agree to, remains worth the watch.
