The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Chelsea Spots Riza Danger – Adam Forced to Come Clean

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) resents the connection that Riza Thompson (Tina Casciani) has with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Riza knows she’s gotten under Chelsea’s skin and loves it.

Spider is no longer the persona that Adam lives by. He’s also worked hard to shed the prodigal son label he had carried for years.

Adam has reaffirmed his sincerity by being in Las Vegas, Nevada, with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Teaming with his older brother to deal with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) once and for all has cemented trust among the Newmans. But the issue with Chelsea will have to be dealt with after the main drama is resolved.

Prodigal Son Returns Home

SORAS’ing (soap opera rapid aging syndrome) Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) youngest son in 2008 was a big deal. Chris Engen became the first adult edition of this character. He was followed by Michael Muhney, Justin Hartley, and Grossman.

Each actor’s portrayal held significance. Engen delivered good performances that helped establish the modern Adam. Muhney’s electric efforts darkened the character, with Hartley’s softening him.

Grossman debuted in the Vegas setting, where Adam was said to be suffering from amnesia. He called himself Spider and was handled by Riza, who was his professional gambler handler.

Riza Thompson And Adam Newman Weren’t Seriously Involved

Adam didn’t know who Chelsea was when he was taken to Vegas and recovered to the point of functionality. So, when meeting the highly appealing Riza, no bets were on or off.

Casciani’s character clearly wants Adam and appeared to believe that she could be with him as their partnership was reestablished. Now, with all cards on the table and in using that type of soapy cliché, Riza sees that Chelsea is someone Adam cares about but might be pried from if enough pressure is applied.

Matt’s link to Riza was money and power-based. There’s a clear danger for any of the characters to lose their lives due to the violence that Matt represents. So, it wouldn’t be surprising if he and Riza realize their demises.

Chelsea Lawson Deserves A Full Explanation

Much of what Chelsea knows about Adam’s time in Vegas exists on a short list. He wasn’t lying when saying that that period of his life is a blur because the amnesia was real and impacted his long-term memory of that period.

Adam was playing a game when he passionately kissed Riza because he wanted to use her to lure Matt into a trap. However, all she needs to do is drop that juicy information in Chelsea’s lap, and Egan’s character will be fully unnerved.

Here’s hoping that the characters Y&R fans know and love survive Matt’s intent to kill them and that Riza lives as well. She’s very intriguing and would be a good addition to Genoa City, Wisconsin. But she’ll need to avoid being direct or collateral damage in Matt’s latest revenge plot.
