General Hospital Spoilers: Britt’s Panic Deepens – Lucas Blames Himself for Critical Mistake

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease as Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) panics over no doses of Huntington’s Disease medicine left, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) has huge regrets! Now, not only is he feeling guilty over talking Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) into getting two doses, and apparently dying for it, but Lucas realizes he could have had them reverse-engineered himself!

Jason Was Going To Give The Vials To Brick

The original plan was for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to give the vials to Brick (Stephen A. Smith) to have reverse-engineered, his apparently knowing a source who could do so.

For that matter, one of the vials could have been rushed to Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) who developed the cure for polonium poisoning, or even Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).

It can be assumed by this time though Finn’s no longer in Port Charles that he’s been through his rehab and working again somewhere, and it could have been Brick’s plan all along.

However, Robin would be a more likely source since her daughter is in Port Charles and she and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) recently took an offscreen trip.

Or, Brick may, as previously mentioned, know of someone else who could do the job quickly-like within a week, although Britt had both vials when Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) broke them.

No One Knew That They Were The Last Two Vials, Except Maybe Cullum Himself

No one knew that those were the last two vials of the experimental Huntington’s meds except for maybe Cullum himself-Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) knows but hadn’t told his sister so far.

He had confronted Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) of the fact and Sidwell had sent him to tell Cullum to order more from his supplier.

As for Cullum, he told Britt that she had to produce more results on the cold fusion project before he’d give her any more medicine.

He never let on that more than likely, he darn well knew that there wasn’t any and he’d broken the last two vials! It was Lucas’ intention to find the meds during the time Cullum was still in the hospital, Sidwell was distracted with grief, and Pascal (Marc Forget) was staying drunk!

Lucas Can’t Lie To Britt, And Puts Her In A Panic When He Tells Her The Truth

Lucas can’t lie to Britt, and he puts her in a panic when he tells her there are no more doses left at Wyndemere.

He even managed to get into the lab-although he was careful not to touch anything with ungloved hands-Marco had given him the combinations to the door and the safe. Pascal was sleeping it off and Sidwell was too distracted to notice, since he’s in a foul mood of accusations of incompetence to everyone.

Britt is thrown for a loop and goes into a panic when Lucas tells her the truth about there being no more meds.

Her hand has already began to shake, and considering Britt is blackmailed over Huntington’s meds, he starts looking for an expert for a second diagnostic opinion-maybe she’s been gaslighted!
