The ink on Alex and Stephanie’s marriage certificate barely had time to dry before Owen Kent (Wes Ramsey) kidnapped Stephanie and locked her away in the Tom Horton Free Clinic. Is Alex’s behavior pushing Stephanie away?

Stephanie Johnson Has PTSD

Stephanie has PTSD after her kidnapping but it is not only this kidnapping, but the one years ago as well. Stephanie is comparing the two situations and blaming not only herself, but Alex as well.

Alex was supposed to be Stephanie’s hero, but that was not the case. Stephanie is stunned by the fact that one of her predators ended up being a hero instead.

Alex is not even treating Stephanie like an adult and that infuriates her. The only person who understands how Stephanie really feels is Jeremy Horton (Michael Roarke), who was held hostage in that room with her.

Stephanie’s thoughts are a bit unfair considering everything Alex went through to protect her. Can Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) help her see things correctly?

Alex Kiriakis Is Going Behind Stephanie Johnson’s Back

Alex is going behind Stephanie’s back and questioning her friends to find out information about Stephanie’s feelings instead of speaking to her face to face.

Alex is telling people things that Stephanie plans to discuss with them without allowing her to speak on her own behalf and Stephanie if furious over that.

Stephanie definitely wants nothing to do with being an author anymore, but that is her story to tell. Alex has no right to be talking to Stephanie’s bosses for her.

Stephanie is a professional and she feels comfortable in that role, it is the only thing that she does feel capable of handling right now. Alex has no right to stick his nose in her business issues at all.

Stephanie Johnson Subconsciously Blames Alex Kiriakis

Stephanie may not realize this but she could subconsciously blame Alex for putting her in this situation in the first place.

Stephanie may have written a book at one time but if One Stormy Night had never been published, Owen would have had no reason to come after her in the first place. Alex was the one who pushed her into publishing this book.

Alex wasn’t exactly looking out for Stephanie when he decided to publish Stephanie’s book, it was a business decision. Stephanie may see that Alex used her to help his company but ended up hurtin her in the end.
