The Young and the Restless spoilers say that a lot of fans have noticed this one odd detail about Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) on the soap lately. And no, it’s not what you are thinking and it has nothing to do with his push-and-pull with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), either.

Instead, it’s the fact that he seems to be looking more and more tan with each new episode. Either he’s been spending a lot of time in the sun in this fictional town of Genoa City (which is unrealistic seeing how it’s winter and snowing) or the makeup team has gone a little too far with the spray tan.

Either way, everyone has noticed and yes, a lot of viewers are scratching their heads over this as Billy is beginning to look nothing like his former self.

Of course, many The Young and the Restless fans had a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some even commented with, “He was very tan on my tv. Thought the same. No one else was extremely tan. Then on B&B Steffy was very tanned. But everyone else looked normal. Regardless l chalked it up to time well spent in a warmer climate.”

Another fan of the soap wrote, “A lot of them have been this way lately. Phyllis yesterday. Jack last week. Fire the makeup person. Abby 2 weeks ago, do they not see this in editing?”

And then there was this comment as well: “CBS Daytime must have had a contract with a tanning booth. I noticed ‘too tanned’ was going around. Did you see Steffy on B&B?”

Now, whether or not that makeup team is going to tone down on the orange spray tan remains to be seen but right now it looks like the entire cast and crew decided to take a trip down to Mexico but forget to bring their sunblock with them. Here’s hoping that doesn’t happen again, right?
