The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Adam Revisits Las Vegas – Matt Lays A Spider’s Trap

The Young and The Restless: Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is revisiting his Las Vegas, Nevada, revival. Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) is believed to be hiding there or possibly setting a trap.

Devoted viewers recall that Grossman was introduced as the latest recast seven years ago. His edition of Adam was suffering from amnesia and called himself Spider. That persona was a professional gambler.

A lot has happened in seven years, with Adam now serving as his father’s fixer. The latest assignment for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has the former Vegas resident searching for an unwanted guest in Sin City.

Sharon Newman Convinced Former Flame To Return

Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers) rejoined the cast in 2019. She replaced Gina Tognoni, who also played this role to the hilt.

Phyllis was the first to spot Adam in a casino. Fans recall that he was missing and assumed dead, which wasn’t the first time this character was believed to have perished. A prior actor change from Michael Muhney (Adam) to Justin Hartley (Adam) took place in 2014.

Victor reached out to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) during the period, and she responded. Adam’s arguably deepest flame got through to him. Sharon convinced Spider to go back to Genoa City, Wisconsin, and he regained his memory, and all flowed from then.

Nick Newman Seeks Complete Closure

Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) addiction is tied to Matt’s return and continued torture of the Newman family. The circumstances that led to Nick’s broken femur created a reckless decision that has resulted in Nick apparently using illegal substances to combat intense pain.

It seems like some of the pills Matt was pushing at The Shadow Room have been in Nick’s possession for weeks. Why he opted to use them and not seek medical attention requires viewers to suspend disbelief.

The Young and The Restless: Matt Clark (Roger Howarth)

This part of the storyline projects to a confrontation where Nick and Matt battle it out. But that would mean that Morrow’s character has to follow Adam to Vegas, or Matt is lured back to GC, and the longtime enemies go at it then.

Matt Clark Is A Low Down Dirty Snake

Consider that Matt lived under an assumed name for many years. Along with that, he passed himself off as Mitch Bacall to the woman who fell in love with him and became his wife.

Matt was recently released from prison after a judge felt he posed no threat to those he was accused of wronging. There hasn’t been much discussion of the legal facts in the case, with viewers anticipating that Howarth didn’t join the cast for a mini-stint.

It’s bad news for the Newmans but great news for daytime fans that Matt is on the loose. Howarth is arguably one of the top actors in the genre, and his version of Matt was an instant classic. Viewers are right to believe that another satisfying chapter is ahead and that whatever the eventual ending to this story will be, top shelf soap.
