General Hospital Spoilers: The Biggest Sign Ric Has Changed and Really Wants His Family Intact

General Hospital spoilers tease everyone is trying to figure out what Ric Lansing (Ric Hearst) is up to. It seems that fans new and old alike just can’t trust that this guy is genuine in his attempts to make things right with his loved ones in Poet Charles not with the track history he has.
Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) told Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) her relationship with Ric was the Chernobyl of relationships. Nothing rings more true.
Furthermore, Ric’s sudden interest in repairing things with his brother, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), is hard for many to trust. But it seems that Sonny himself isn’t struggling in that department.
Elizabeth Rolls the Dice
Elizabeth seems like she’s already made her decision. She swore to herself when Ric came back to town to support Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos) after she lost her baby girl, that she wouldn’t give him the time of day.
She declined his offers to spend time together as anything more than casual friends who used to be married. Ric was a cruel husband and he hadn’t forgotten all that he did to her. But Elizabeth seems keen on giving him another chance, even if everyone she knows is warning her against it.
GH Spoilers Leak Sonny Can Hold His Own
Sonny probably doesn’t see too much risk in mingling with Ric again. For the last few years since he came back from Nixon Falls, he’s been all about making peace and strengthening his relationships, too.

Despite everyone cautioning him against it, Sonny isn’t worried. He knows that if Ric crosses him, he’ll deal with it in his own unique way. Would we ever expect any less of him?
Ric’s New Leaf Isn’t the Only Change on the Horizon
Recently, Maurice Benard entertained the conversation that most GH cast members rarely get to have. When asked about future storylines, Benard replied that he saw himself retiring at some point, and that point was sooner rather than later.
He’ll be 65 in just a few years, and it sounds like he’s shooting for that timeline to hang up his hat. If that’s the case, it might make sense that he and Ric actually patch things up right now.
Historically, GH loves to tie up loose ends, make amends, and keep the peace when OG actors are moving toward being on their way out.
So this one time, it may be worth getting our hopes up that these brothers are going to work it out once and for all. Keep checking back with us every day for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
[…] Could this experiment that is clearly being carried out on Nathan also be what happened to Drew? Some fans have long suspected that GH will eventually retcon the situation and claim something went afoul when Drew was out of the country grabbing Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) to save Willow Tait Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) life. […]
[…] While there’s no doubt that Steve is an excellent husband who is choosing his family over his career, it goes without saying that a lot of fans would love to see him back on the canvas sooner rather than later. […]
[…] Nathan was skeptical and attempted to alert Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) that Cullum was not someone who should be near Lulu. Was Cullum getting closer to Rocco as well, just before he acts on his threat-will he use Rocco to take revenge on Britt? It appears that Cullum is willing to do anything to compel Britt to finish her father, Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) final project. […]
