The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that this is not going to end well for anyone. Not only that, but many critics are slamming Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) and Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) storyline as nothing more than ‘stupid’ and here’s why. Keep reading everything below.

Critics Slam Taylor And Deacon’s Storyline As ‘Stupid’

During the most recent episode of the soap, Deacon professed his love for Taylor right in front of her ex-husband, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).

But Ridge’s reply was, “It’s over, stay away from her,” as though he had some sort of investment in his ex-wife Taylor’s life. Not only that, but Taylor couldn’t help but look shocked that Ridge was even in the same room as her and Deacon to begin with.

If all of this doesn’t make sense, it’s because it doesn’t. Because if there’s one person that should be saying “it’s over,” it’s Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and she’s not even in the room. Plus, Taylor should know better to be kissing married men!

Of course, B&B fans certainly did have a lot to say about the matter online.

Some even took to social media to comment with, “Everyone was complaining that we didn’t want another Brooke//Taylor/Ridge storyline… and now we have one. Yes it’s infuriating, but that’s how soaps are.”

What’s Next For Taylor And Deacon?

Another critic wrote, “They’ve really taken Taylor in a direction I never would have imagined. They’ve really taken Taylor in a direction I never would have imagined.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Why in the world doesn’t Taylor ever lock her office door! Everyone just walks right into her office. And as a world renowned physiologist, why does she have paper thin walls in her office?”

“For a moment I forgot that Ridge was Taylor’s ex husband and not her dad.”
