The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Audra and Holden Form an Alliance — Claire Wants More Dirt
The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Audra Cortes (Zuleyka Silver) doesn’t want her backstory to be further exposed. Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) has the power to do so and is considering it.
Audra changed her last name to Charles after her attempted scam of a man collapsed back on her. Holden came to Audra’s rescue in Los Angeles, California. But that bond frayed badly after both characters appeared in Genoa City, Wisconsin.
Now, several soapy years after Audra’s life was threatened and Holden saved her, their alliance is at a flashpoint. It’s in both people’s current, perceived interests to keep the full LA story buried.
What Was Audra Cortes Doing In Los Angeles?
Audra appears to have been working people. Somewhat similar to Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) sordid history, Audra used her notable charms to draw attention to herself.
She played off her high physical appeal to enjoy good times with various guys. However, she reached her limit when the sinister character viewers saw in the LA flashback went too far.
Silver’s character wasn’t interested in cavorting with that guy. Instead, she swiped a half-million-dollar check that was on him and almost paid for her life. Holden’s presence at The Shadow Room was the only reason why Audra wasn’t brutally attacked or lost her life.
Holden Novak Didn’t Seek Trouble Or Money
Holden was working as a bartender for the man he knew as Mitch Bacall (Roger Howarth). Of course, Mitch has since been revealed as throwback villain Matt Clark.
Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) was managing her husband’s bar at the time and was familiar with Audra. Braun’s character, who is now Noah Newman’s (Lucas Adams) love interest, was rubbed the wrong way by her.
Audra sent Holden a one-hundred-thousand-dollar check as a thank you for protecting her on that fateful night, which fans learned about through flashback scenes. He didn’t ask for that money but did use it, which is the part of the story he relayed to Claire Newman (Hayley Erin).
Claire Newman Is Still Freshly Single
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) appears to be the man Claire loves. Holden is a distraction because she finds him to be attractive, he repeatedly throws himself at her, and Claire isn’t ready to return to Kyle yet.
Claire wants dirt on Audra. Both ladies have ramped up their rivalry in recent weeks, with face slaps, a thrown drink, and verbal tongue lashings woven into their must-watch scenes.
One classic soap storyline involves a triangle. Claire’s place between Kyle and Holden drives Audra wild because she’s used to being the object of every man’s eye.
Audra believes her alliance with Holden is vital. He can’t arm Claire with destructive informational ammunition. Doing so could end her run in GC.
