The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Deadly Deja Vu With Eric, Brooke Blindsided With Donna’s News?

The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates tease there’ll be a case of deadly déjà vu this week on the CBS soap, when it comes to Eric Forrester (John McCook).

This week, on the CBS soap, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) will be blindsided by Donna Logan’s (Jennifer Garies) news pertaining to Eric’s health.

Brooke Has Always Been Close To Eric-He Was Her First Forrester Husband

Brooke has always been close to Eric, he was her first Forrester husband-and Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) is their daughter, Rick Forrester (Jacob Young) their son.

Everyone was blindsided by Eric’s secrecy a bit over a year ago concerning his potentially terminal heart problem-once they found out.

But thankfully, after the potentially deadly secret was out in the open, thanks to Bridget and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) his life was saved, thanks to an experimental procedure.

Finn had found the experimental procedure through his research into whether his grandfather-in-law could be saved, and had obtained permission to perform it, with Bridget’s assistance in the operating room. For over a year, Eric has been doing fine, and strong as ever-so when Donna shares bad news about Eric’s health, Brooke is blindsided!

Has Eric’s Procedure Gone Backwards?

The first question a blindsided Brooke is likely to ask Donna is if his lifesaving medical procedure has gone backwards, or if something else has happened.

Eric is nearly ninety years old, so it’s not surprising at all that he would develop some health problems; it’s just part of aging. But considering that Brooke is shocked, it sounds like the condition the experimental procedure had cured has cropped up again, and Eric and the Forresters may well be back to square one!

Considering the experimental nature of the procedure, there may be no records of what can be done should it eventually fail, and Brooke is the only one Donna’s told.

The only worse news could be another terminal condition, such as cancer, discovered too late to treat, which would be a terrible tragedy.

Has Eric Again Avoided Telling Anyone His Symptoms, And Gone Back To Secrecy Again?

It was almost too late for Eric the last time, because of keeping secrets about his symptoms-he tried to manage them himself, without any medical attention or advice.

He didn’t see any reason to tell anyone, or to seek any medical attention, he’d apparently done research and didn’t think anyone would find anything different than “Dr. MD Web!” But this time, it’s understandable why he would keep it a secret if his experimental procedure was failing, or if his heart again is failing in spite of it.

But Donna may have noticed, just as she did before, and has been pleading with Eric to seek medical attention. But if he again is being stubborn about his health, she may wonder if Eric will listen to Brooke!
