Did Luna Really Miscarry?

With everyone hurrying to the scene of the clash between the ex-con and Will, it’s evident we’re nearing a significant turning point! After a confused Luna spent most of two episodes begging Will to assure her they have a future together and asking to raise their “family” at the beach house, the psychopath’s story took an unexpected twist.

She suddenly claimed she had “lost everything”… including the baby she was carrying.

That revelation is already a major twist, but is she being honest? There were subtle hints that something had shifted, but wouldn’t the prison have been aware and notified someone if a medical crisis had occurred?

Luna May Have Lied About The Miscarriage

Maybe Luna, going through her first pregnancy, mistakenly thinks she miscarried, when she just had a little spotting, which is entirely normal. Or perhaps she chose to lie after finally realizing she had no chance with Will.

Being as calculating as she is, she might have figured that they wouldn’t search for her too diligently if they thought there was no Spencer baby to be concerned about.

This leads us to the first major twist possibility: Luna escapes, hides out, has the baby, and returns months later with Will’s child; likely just as he is about to marry someone else.

A wedding is the perfect time for a shocking surprise-if you doubt this, just ask Luna’s grandmother, Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown).

Another Big Twist On The Way?

But if we’re right, there’s another big twist on the way-all those text messages that had everyone rushing to the beach house must mean something.

We think the writers are bringing the group together to see something important happen; could the hints about Katie Logan’s (Heather Tom) heart play a role? Perhaps Will’s mother will finally break down from the stress when she finds out Luna has escaped, leading to her collapse.

This leads us to the second major twist possibility: the writers might have Luna lose the baby so she can fall off a cliff in the dark and linger near death.

Just long enough for her heart to remain viable… to be donated to Katie, or  Luna will be presumed dead only to return unexpectedly… with or without a Spencer child.
