Days of our Lives weekly spoilers for December 1-5, 2025, reveal Brady having to let Rachel go, while EJ learns some fascinating truths, and more.

Rachel’s Big Surprise

Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) is forced to tell Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) that she is going to have to spend some time at Bayview and will not be coming home soon. Rachel is distraught by the idea, but Brady knows it’s for the best.

What Rachel does not expect is to see Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) walking around Bayview like she is fine. When Sophia visits Rachel’s room, she tells Rachel that her non-catatonic status is their little secret. Rachel and Sophia bond over this secret and become mischief makers at Bayview.

Does this mean that Sophia has been faking things all along, or has she been out of her catatonic state for only a few days? Either way, it’s clear that Sophia needs some serious mental health help, but will she get it?

Cat Sets Her Sights On EJ

Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) decides to forget Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) by focusing on EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel), her ISA assignment. Knowing she used to read to EJ when they were recovering in an Italian clinic gives Cat more to work with.

When Cat and EJ spend some time alone together, Cat triggers EJ’s memory. From there, EJ becomes obsessed with learning more about his missing years. Does he realize that Cat was the one reading passages from Wuthering Heights to him?

The Carvers run into trouble with their Thanksgiving dinner. Is it caused by a crying baby and a surprise from Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens)? Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) arrives in Chicago for her book tour appearance, but does not realize she is being stalked by yet another blast from her past.

Gwen Rizcech (Emily O’Brien) takes pity on a very sad Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) on Thanksgiving.

Will one thing lead to another? Gwen appears to have a busy week when she also nearly comes to blows with Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart).
