The Young And The Restless Spoilers: The Five People Who Are Most Likely To Save Cane’s Life

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) created a complex plan. But his original rollout at his stolen villa went worse than he ever anticipated.
Three murders and a guest list that wanted his head. Topping that was Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) telling him not to return to Genoa City, Wisconsin, and their twins’ mortification over the Aristotle Dumas reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) rolled out weeks after his father intended.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) wants to crush Cane. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is joining forces with his mortal enemy because they agree that Arabesque is a mortal threat to their family businesses.
Lily Winters Stands At The Top
While Lily rejected Cane’s reconciliation, she has continued talking to him since they returned to town. She’s notably affected when in Cane’s presence.
Damian Kane’s (Jermaine Rivers) shocking murder, by knife in his back, followed a quickie romance that Lily pushed to happen in the south of France. She was attracted to Damian but clearly got with him to send a message to Cane.
Unexpectedly together and single within a matter of days, Lily stands alone and able to reconsider Cane’s offer to rediscover love with him.
She’s not there yet, but viewers likely believe fall developments could happen that result in Lily green-lighting the restart of romance with Cane.
Lily is the most influential person who can change Cane’s life and likely alter his GC domination plans.
The Twins And Sam Ashby Haven’t Been Seen In Years
Mattie Ashby (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander Gerry) are the children Cane had with Lily. The rarely mentioned Sam Ashby (only seen as a baby) is the child Cane had with the late Juliet Helton (Laur Allen).

It would be great if Y&R is in the process of writing back Mattie and Charlie. He and Lily talk about them often, and the setup is there to allow mutual returns to GC.
The twins are mad at their dad for living as Aristotle and keeping them in the dark, with a parental reconciliation needed.
It would also be fitting to see a SORAS’d (soap opera rapid aging syndrome) Sam come to town as a teenager. He, along with his siblings, has the power to influence their father’s efforts and shift his focus from business to family.
Jill Abbott Has Another Son
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is Jill’s biological son. Cane tried to convince her that he was that as well, but that con was eventually exposed.
Surprisingly, the generally grudge-holding Jill maintained emotional ties with Cane and thought of him as an adopted son.
He is a counter to Billy and offered Jill a chance to make up for the mistakes she made in child-rearing.
Jill’s imminent and needed return to GC is Billy and Cane focused. Once she gets a handle and hold on Billy, Cane can follow.
Like Billy, he will listen to Jill and can have his mind changed by her continued influence in his life.
