The Devastating Loss

It wasn’t a human baby who passed away. However, people of all ages and social statuses often fall in love with their pets. And, given that Sharon lost her husband, Ozzy Osbourne, recently, her pup, Elvis, comforted her during this difficult time.

Unfortunately, she took to Instagram on the weekend and told her nearly three million followers that she’s mourning her sad loss. Sharing sweet photos in remembrance, the former TV host said:

I can’t believe I am posting this but my darling Elvis passed away this week. He gave me 14 precious year. He was by my side until the end. Rest in peace my darling boy! 

Friends & Fans React To The Sad News

Sharon Osbourne found plenty of sympathy. Some folks hope that there’s a life after we leave the planet. So, one of them wrote, “May Ozzy watch over him till y’all meet again.”

The animal association PETA also sent their condolences to Sharon Osbourne. They penned, “We are so sorry to hear about Elvis’ passing. Thinking of you and your family and sending love. Elvis will live on in every beautiful memory you shared.” Plus, they added heart and paw print emojis. 

Hopefully, Her Kids Comfort Her

Despite very busy lives, she and Ozzy found time for lots of animals in their lives. Plus, they made time for their children, Aimee, Jack, and Kelly Osbourne.

Hopefully, they can do something to comfort their mom, who still grieves her famous rock star husband. However, it’s thought that Aimee isn’t all that close to her mom or her siblings.

Together they looked forward to a quiet retirement life surrounded by many animals. Unfortunately, that dream died shortly after he performed his last concert.

Hopefully, another pet will enter her life. Animals love so unconditionally that sometimes, without them, pet-lovers wonder if they can face the many challenges that life brings.
