‘GH’ Spoilers: Curtis Faces the Ultimate Test – Will Portia’s Pregnancy Pull Him Back In?

General Hospital spoilers suggest Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) knew exactly what she was getting herself into when she spilled the beans to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) that she thought Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) was pregnant.

But there was no malice. In fact, you could see the angst written all over her face; she hated being the one to tell Curtis this news. It should be Portia telling him she is pregnant with his child, but alas, she doesn’t know that. The timing couldn’t have been better either.

Curtis finally put his feelings for Jordan on display, and she had to turn him down due to her darned integrity. Now, they’ve left everything up in the air again.

There is no clarity, no reboot, no reassurance that we’ll figure out if they can make it, because Curtis has to reassess ending his marriage. Will Portia latch onto that and lead him further away from Jordan now in light of her spreading the news?

Did Jordan Do the Right Thing?

The fans are pretty split on this one. Some think they could’ve handled it better, noting Jordan had no place sharing the status of Portia’s health or a pregnancy.

Others argue Curtis has a right to know Portia is pregnant because it could be his child. Even still, some fans think Jordan did the right thing, but the wrong way, claiming she could’ve encouraged him to talk to Portia without telling him why.

Either way, the damage is done, and now Jordan might give Portia a heads up that helps her arm herself and retaliate merely because she told the truth.

GH Spoilers Spill Portia Sinks Her Teeth In

Portia has known for some time now that there were still feelings brewing between Curtis and his ex-wife. It grated her every nerve knowing those feelings were there and Curtis just wouldn’t admit it.

Now, she’s going to get the message loud and clear when she hears from Curtis that he knows she’s pregnant.

Whether he throws Jordan under the bus for telling him or not is irrelevant; Portia will know. So she’s going to consider the why, and she’s likely to surmise that Jordan told Curtis the truth because she wants him back.

Sure, Portia knew that all along, but the idea of him actually running right back to her might be too much.

Plus, the power she holds in knowing she could just tell Curtis the baby is his and hold onto him — retaining her rights to him as her husband and snatching him back away from Jordan — might be too much for her to shy away from.

Decisions, Decisions

Curtis is going to have a big choice to make. If Portia comes clean and admits she’s pregnant, she probably isn’t going to tell him there is any chance this baby isn’t his. Instead, she’ll probably ask that he keep it to himself, and ensure that Jordan does the same.

Likewise, she may tell Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) the truth, but she could keep him in the dark if Curtis is going to keep his lips zipped.

Letting Curtis go on thinking he’s going to be a father while the baby may be Isaiah’s is one way to lead him on and quickly find herself in a similar position to where she was all those years ago when she got pregnant with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).

Will it slowly become too hard to tell him the truth? Still, that doesn’t mean Curtis is going to cling to Portia — especially if she’s not down with giving the marriage another go.

But he could find the timing to no longer be right for going out on a limb and hooking up with Jordan when he stands to end up in a custody battle with Portia
