Bachelor Alum Daisy Kent Announces Happy News

Bachelor alum Daisy Kent, who appeared on Joey Graziadei’s season, is incredibly excited and announced some very happy news. In fact, the ABC alum is so excited that she shared back-to-back posts about it on social media. Read on for all the details.

Massively Happy 

On October 20, Daisy took to her Instagram account and shared that she and her boyfriend, Thor Herbst, became engaged. It all went down in Tuscany, Italy.

When she shared photos from her special day, one of them showed Thor kneeling at her feet as he proposed. In that post, she wrote in the caption, “Love you forever!”

Then she posted again, and this time, she showed off her beautiful ring. Super excited, Daisy Kent wrote in her caption, “gonna be a wifeyyy,” and added a row of celebratory and emotional emojis.

In the comments section of the post with the ring, Bachelor alum, Hannah Brown, who also won Dancing with the Stars, arrived. She penned, “You are soo cute!! Congrats honey!!”

Daisy’s Love Story

Most ABC fans will remember Daisy from season 28 of The Bachelor, where she made it to the final two. However, she decided on self-elimination because she believed that Kelsey Andersen was better suited for Joey Graziadei.

Off she went to get on with real life, even turning down the chance to take the lead role in The Bachelorette. She later reconnected with an old flame from college, Thor Herbst. The couple moved in together in Las Vegas.

Beyond the Show

When fans met her on the show, they also learned about her journey with hearing loss. In fact, she even wrote a children’s book about it and worked to bring awareness to cochlear implants, especially in her home state of Minnesota. Her hearing issues stem from both Ménière’s and Lyme disease, and she received a cochlear implant in 2023.

That sweet little book has an endearing title: Daisy Doo: All The Sounds She Knew, which tells the story of a young girl learning to hear again.
