In a worried post, she shared another adorable photo of the young pup and revealed his difficult health journey. “Our sweet Wyatt has already been through so much in just 12 weeks,” she wrote.

Steve Burton’s  wife explained more, saying, “On day 2 a tough cough started (mycoplasma), then giardia and now as of today aspiration pneumonia. He’s back on meds and getting lots of love while he heals.”

Next, she described how they still feel hopeful that he will be okay, adding, “He hasn’t had the easiest start, but he’s such a happy little fighter. Praying healthier days are just around the corner for him.”

One of them wrote, “I would be a total mess. When my babies are sick I’m up all night watching over them. I hope your baby feels good soon.”

Another GH fan added, “Sending love for that young pup.”

Many more of them offered encouraging words. Here are a few of those reactions from the discussion area:

  • I will say this, rescue animals that start off that sick, that receive the love you are giving him, turns them into the absolute best pet ever. They are forever grateful.
  • He is so obviously cared for and loved & adored by you & your whole family. Prayer moves the hand that moves the world. I know all your followers, like me are praying for sweet Wyatt.
  • Keep helping him fight! Our Mags had double pneumonia. Everyone said she was out of the game. We got to keep her for a long time! Prayer works! Fighting for them works!

The difficult news comes hot on the heels of a much happier time for the couple.

A Recent Celebration For Wyatt

Recently, Michele Lundstrom melted the hearts of fans as she celebrated Wyatt’s three months of life. Previously, she shared the day they got the pup with a sweet photo of Steve Burton. It was just last week that she posted a heart-melting carousel of photos on her Instagram profile, showcasing their puppy.

At the time, fans were quick to agree that the Australian Shepherd, with his unique half-blue, half-brown eyes, was simply the cutest.

“Wyatt turns 3 months old tomorrow, but of course he needed a carousel for #NationalDogDay,” Michelle wrote in her caption. “Yes, he has a half blue and brown eye…he’s a special one. He loves love so he fits in perfectly here.❤️”

Michelle Lundstrom also teased her followers with exciting news to come, adding, “Filming content today! And we have an awesome surprise announcement to share next week! Stay tuned!”

The timing of the pup’s arrival suggests the couple welcomed Wyatt into their family almost immediately after they tied the knot. He’s a sweet addition following their romantic wedding and honeymoon.

Now, as Wyatt bravely fights his latest health battle, the couple and their furry family member get plenty of support from their fans, all hoping and praying for his recovery.
