OutDaughtered star, Danielle Busby shared some new photos of the quints this week on her social media. Although the girls looked nice, some TLC fans still managed to find something to object to. Read on to find out why.

The Photos Show Bigger Quints

For many TLC fans, the photos that Danielle shared were a surprise. After all, the Busby quints, Ava, Olivia, Riley, Parker, and Hazel, are much bigger than they were in earlier seasons of the show. That’s because this year they go into Grade 5 at school.

In her Instagram caption on Wednesday, Danielle Busby told her followers:

Well.. today is 5th grade picture day for the quints and this was the best I got at snapping a pic of them today … the “look at me real quick before you jump out the car” pic.

Fans React In The Comments

Most OutDaughtered fans spoke about how big the girls are these days. Meanwhile, others hoped that the show would return. Actually, they feel suspicious because of the long hiatus they took a few years ago. One of them asked, “To think I seen these newborns in Busby…. I miss the show, is it ever over???”

Here are a few other reactions from the discussion area:

  • Awww your Girls are soo Beautiful!
  • I’ve watched them grow up …Beautiful young ladies…Miss the show that’s for sure.
  • Beautiful princess, may God bless you. I miss seeing you on TV.
  • The fact that they’re this big and I’ve been watching yall/them since they were wittle babies!

If you worry that the TV show is over, there are rumors of another season. However, so far it doesn’t seem that TLC confirmed it yet.

Some People Objected

You might be wondering what people could find to object about when Danielle Busby shared the pictures of her beautiful daughters. Well, critics popped up and their main complaint was an old one. Back in 2021, some folks moaned and groaned because Riley used some lipgloss.

This time, the same sort of comments arrived. One critic wrote, “5th grade and all that makeup??” Similarly, another one said, “Way too young for makeup. Do better mom.” Others who commented on the makeup did so in a nicer way.

But really, a lot of fans of the Busby family felt that lipgloss doesn’t really count as makeup. Sometimes debates about it arise, and it’s interesting to note that SheKnows heard from Carrie Krawiec, a licensed marriage and family therapist, about three years ago. In her opinion, lipgloss is fine. However, she drew a line at eyeliner before the age of 14.
