The true crime story about Emmanuel Haro, the seven-month-old baby who disappeared after his mother, Rebecca Haro, claimed he was kidnapped in Yucaipa, California, took a new turn. Disturbing details had already arrived, and now more troubling news has emerged.

The Baby Hasn’t Been Seen For A Month

Contrary to Rebecca’s claim that she was with her son when he disappeared, new information suggests she hadn’t had her child for at least a month.

Ahead of the weekend, News Nation reported that Annie Elise, who hosts the “Serialously” podcast, delivered the news about the child’s earlier disappearance. According to her, “there has not been a family member who has said they have had eyes on him in the last month.”

This only makes it more difficult for investigators to try and locate the baby’s remains. With a whole month to dispose of the child, if that’s what happened, the trail might grow a bit cold.

She also noted that she’s hopeful that “they were reckless enough with their digital footprint that they will be able to find him soon.” The podcaster, who also runs the YouTube channel “10 to Life,” is dedicated to digging into true crime details.

This time, she dished more unfortunate news. Apart from Baby Emmanuel Haro not being seen for a month, she added, “[The police] were dumping out garbage bins, going through the trash, searching that shed that was also adjacent to the property.”

Updates Included Details Of Child Abuse.

The news also arrived that Jake, the father of Emmanuel, had a prior conviction for abusing Emmanuel’s sister. Jake was convicted for willful child cruelty in that previous case which left a little girl unable to walk or talk. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department called in special investigators, which led to a deeper look into the case.

There is another side to the family that seems suspiciously tied to family violence. According to CW affiliate KTLA, Rebecca’s brother, James Beushausen, was convicted in 2017 of murdering his girlfriend, Jaylynn Keith, and attempting to conceal the crime. While that might not tie to the true crime investigation into Emmanuel, it is, nevertheless, more disturbing news.

The arrest of Rebecca Haro and the father, Jake, followed. At this time, they face being charged with murder, although the baby has not yet been found.

Some Cases Trend

Much like Baby Emmanuel, the crime story of Gabby Petito gripped the nation and the world four years ago. She went missing, and it took a lot of time for authorities to locate the prime suspect, Brian Laundrie. By then, he had taken his own life.

It seems that the apparently tragic end of Emmanuel is generating much the same interest because of the heartbreaking and disturbing news that emerges at the moment. Remember to keep checking back with us for more details as the true crime investigation unfolds.
