The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Traci Risks Everything to Welcome Cane?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) is as welcome in Genoa City as measles. That isn’t stopping him from relocating there from Nice, France, now that he’s decimated half of the GC population one way or another.

Who in the world would support Cane after what he did? There has to be someone in town who gives him the time of day otherwise we’ll be watching him talk to himself.

There is one person who has a big enough heart and a forgiving nature warm enough to tolerate if not welcome Cane: Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland).

Will Traci and Cane Spark?

The show had the GC elite at Cane’s French chateau for what felt like most of the summer. Not all of his guests are coming back however, as things went sideways at the merry manor.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) among others has warned Cane never to set foot in GC ever, ever, again. We already know that Cane is coming back, to finish his shady business dealings, and to win back Lily Winters (Christal Khalil).

Cane Insists on Returning to GC

But he’ll be a pariah now, someone only the very sacred and holy would commune with—and sainthood is Traci’s middle name.

There was a point in time long ago that they had pseudo flirtation, so there is history to mine plot wise. We don’t think that Cane and Traci will be attracted to each other, at least not in the beginning. Their’s will be a relationship of healer and villain.

Poor Traci needs to forget about Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) and Cane needs to leave Lily alone for a while. Why wouldn’t these two souls find comfort in each other’s woes?

We predict that Traci will feel sorry for Cane when everyone piles on him, it’s in her nature.

Can Cane Convince GC to Trust Him?

You may be wondering how Traci could befriend her family’s enemy. Yes, he is trying to take over established GC businesses, but Traci has always conveniently sided with the downtrodden.

Traci always sees the good in people and it’s not hard to imagine her defending Cane’s smoke show as a valid idea that took a wrong turn.
