The actresses who play these characters recently took a backstage snapshot and uploaded the picture to social media, teasing a new storyline on the horizon for these leading ladies.
Lauralee Bell posted a photo of her and Tracey E Bregman on Instagram, and the ladies were somewhere backstage. Could Cricket and Lauren get a storyline of their very own? The caption of Bell’s photo read, “We get to do some fun things together coming up! You’ll get a hint about what next week! More to come! #yr”
Bregman ended up posting the photo on her IG Story, with the headline, “Wait until you see what’s coming up!”, tagging both The Young and the Restless’ official IG handle, as well as Bell. Bell reposted Bregman’s IG Story on her Instagram Stories, adding four hearts.
A cynical soap fan may think that Lauren needs Christine for some legal help. Could her company get sued? Does she have a disgruntled employee? Will Lauren get violent toward someone and then get arrested?
On the other hand, an adoring soap opera fan may also remember that Christine is currently planning her wedding to Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian), so will The Bug turn to Lauren for help with the big day? As the owner of Fenmore’s, Lauren has a pulse in the fashion world and could help Cricket with her wedding dress.
Then again, considering the history these two share, will Lauren also stand up for the happy couple and be in Christine and Danny’s wedding party?
Regardless, it sounds like Y&R viewers will learn more about this storyline during the week of August 11-15.
