The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Murder Mystery In Nice-Did Cane Order Carter To Kill Damian?
The Young and The Restless spoilers and rumors reveal there’s a murder mystery in Nice-did Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) order his assistant Carter (Vincent Stalba) to make a hit?
Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) was first drugged, as Cane was-or pretended to be-and then someone threw a knife into his back-the antique dagger Damian had admired!
Carter Would Do ANYTHING For Cane Ashby!
According to Vincent Stalba in a recent Soap Opera Digest article, Carter would do ANYTHING for Cane-ANYTHING, he stressed-which might include functioning as a hit man.
Although Cane claimed someone was trying to kill him, and invited Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) to Nice specifically because of the threat, could he have made the threat up?
He had no way to know Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) was romantically involved with Damian, his former employee, until they got to the estate and he witnessed what was happening between them.
While jealousy over Lily could indeed have been a motive for murder, he invited Chance when he invited everyone else to the “party”. He certainly could have planned to murder Damian, considering he fired him, but it probably was over something else-perhaps the same reason he fired him.
Cane Got Damian Alone To Have A “Heart To Heart” About Lily-Phyllis Wasn’t Invited
Cane got Damian alone after he found out about his and Lily being in a romantic relationship, wanting a “heart to heart” about Damian and Lily.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) wasn’t invited-she just happened to stumble in on the scene, right after the dagger was thrown- the thick high hedges that make up the maze concealed the killer.
So even though she showed up a split second after the dagger was thrown, she wouldn’t have been able to see the perp. It’s easy to imagine Cane had other nefarious reasons to invite practically everyone in Genoa City to this “party” and make up the story about his life being threatened as a cover.
It may not be just Damian that he may have ordered Carter to kill, others’ lives may be in danger as well-anyone whose company Cane wants to take over!
All Are Suspects, But All Potential Murder Victims As Well
So, if Cane ordered Carter to kill Damian anyway, he may have just have pushed his murder to the top spot seeing him as competition for Lily!
Chance himself may even have a target on his back, and Cane could have made up the threat to his life as a cover story-otherwise, why not use the local police? Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) even asked the same question in the episode of July 16!
Everyone from the Newmans to the Abbotts are realizing something strange is going on-and their lives are in danger-Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) may suspect it too. And of course, there will be certain “guests” that Cane and Carter, doing Cane’s bidding, will seek to frame!

I think that Cane did order the hit on Damian because he has always been a shady person, and with Colin being his father, they are like two peas in a pod. I can not wait until the truth comes out. I hope is soon !!!
