Days Of Our Lives Weekly Spoilers: Marlena In Danger, Doug Skips Town, Gwen and Gabi At Each Other’s Throats

Days of our Lives weekly spoilers for July 21-25, 2025, reveal the start of Johnny’s trial bringing some alarming news, and so much more.

Marlena’s Momentous Week

Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) is determined to do whatever it takes to help exonerate Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), even if that includes having EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) in her home so she can hypnotize him and see what he remembers from the night he was shot.

When she has him under, EJ is quite disturbed by what he sees, but does he see enough to help Johnny?

They eventually make it to court, where EJ will be the defense attorney and Belle Black (Martha Madison) is the prosecutor, making this trial a very strange event with lots of conflicts of interest. Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) being on the jury also does not help make this an objective trial.

By the time the trial starts, Marlena is not in good shape. She passes out in Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) arms, sending chills up Belle’s spine.

Doug Says Goodbye

Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and Arianna Horton (Marissa Reyes) do the best they can to escape and get away from Richie, the goon who is holding them hostage.

It looks like they may be rescued because Doug III (Peyton Meyer) decides he is going to leave town, just as he had promised Tate Black (Leo Howard).

Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) is surprised when Doug turns up at her door. Doug tells her that he is sorry for stealing the necklace and causing so much trouble, so Julie tells Doug that she thinks he has potential. Then, just like that, Doug is gone.

As for Tate, he is stunned when Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) calls and tells him that she just gave birth to a little girl.

Gwen vs Gabi

When Gwen Von Leuchner (Emily O’Brien) and Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) run into one another in the square, they snipe and snap at one another until the subject of Alamania comes up.

Gabi wonders if Gwen saw Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) there. She assumes that is where he is but could be wrong. Is this the start of a return for Stefan?
