General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Vows Revenge On Bomber Of Charlie’s Pub-Is Kristina Badly Injured?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will vow revenge on the bomber of Charlie’s Pub. The evening of the day of his brand new granddaughter’s christening, someone firebombed the pub-with his daughter Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) trapped inside!
It Had To Be Someone Familiar With The Layout, As The Incendiary Device Was Thrown In The Storeroom
Kristina went to work at the pub the evening of Daisy Gilmore-Corinthos’ (Levi Clark Coughlin) christening, after he had to deal with Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) crashing it.
After that complication was dealt with and his guard took her away, presumably on his jet to Belize for a new life, the ceremony was completed and everyone went home. But later that evening, Sonny got a call from the fire department-someone threw a Molotov cocktail through the back door window and the Pub was on fire!
Sonny had originally bought the Pub for Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) to run after the death of her husband in Nixon Falls, but then she left the area, leaving Kristina to run it. After that, Sonny gave the Pub to Kristina, although her other project, a home for troubled youth never got off the ground.
Sonny Races Over To The Pub, Worried About Kristina
Sonny races over to the Pub, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) with him-Sonny’s worst fear is that Kristina could be trapped inside and burned as badly as Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson)! Both Sonny and Jason immediately connect the incident to Sonny’s penthouse bombing and suspect the same enemy-Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
Sonny had barely gotten the words out of his mouth to Laura Collins (Genie Francis) that violence was coming to Port Charles and they have to stop it. Now he knows that he has to move that agenda ahead, way ahead, and Jason agrees-Sonny refusing to sell Sidwell his piers is too much of a coincidence.
The firemen on the scene have to hold the frantic Sonny and only slightly calmer Jason back from rushing into the burning building!
Kristina Is Brought Out, And She’s Badly Injured
Finally Kristina is brought out and she’s badly injured, although she’s not burned as badly as Michael-she’s got a bad case of smoke inhalation and broken bones from a beam falling.
Jason and Sonny had mutually decided not to call Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) until they knew more, considering it is only a few months since Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) died.
They didn’t want to panic Alexis, and they will let her deal with calling Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) as well. Sonny is pretty sure the same person is ultimately responsible for both fire bombings, and extremely familiar with the layout of both buildings-one thing is certain; they’re going to suffer Sonny-style justice!
