General Hospital Spoilers: PC Couple Swap? Curtis and Jordan Reunite as Isaiah and Portia Connect?

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease a couple swap is ahead in Port Charles, and it looks like the foundation’s already being laid. Might Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) reunite, while Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) hooks up with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr)?

Jordan And Isaiah Were Just Getting Started

Jordan and Isaiah were just getting started when she broke up with him because of her “undercover project” which involves getting close to Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).

By becoming his close associate, working in a top position with his company, she hopes to uncover what he’s really up to, a move approved by Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis).

No one, especially Isaiah, believes that Sidwell is really in Port Charles setting up legitimate business-he knows him too well from Somalia and that he sent someone to kill him!

Isaiah will never trust Sidwell, and he was just too protective over Jordan-even though she assured him she knew exactly what she was doing, telling him about her past in the DEA. That’s why Jordan had to break up with Isaiah, he would have blown her cover with playing the hero if he had seen her in perceived trouble!

Curtis And Portia Are At Odds

As for Curtis and Portia, they are at odds-sleeping in separate bedrooms though keeping their troubles under the radar, not wishing to upset family members.

Curtis couldn’t handle Portia’s keeping Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) blackmail a secret, and her not confiding it in him, and even less her telling him to not publish a derogatory article! Curtis doesn’t like secret-keeping, after the fallout of finding out Trina was his daughter, and she likely knew all along.

Just because Trina was a product of an affair she had when she was married to Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) it was still wrong-especially since Portia and Marcus were divorced for years. And now, she’s keeping secrets from him again, confiding half-truths at best about certain subjects.

Curtis Confides In Jordan, And Isaiah Supports Portia, Reaching Out To Her

Curtis has been confiding in Jordan of late, even though he divorced her for keeping secrets too-when he was a civilian and she was a cop, about secret police business.

On the other hand, Isaiah reached out to Portia as a supportive co-worker, trying to get her to confide in him when he saw her practically sweep her desk clean in frustration. Upcoming spoilers and rumors for July sweeps predict there will be at least one couple swap ahead for the ABC soap.

Might the two couples in the swap be former couple Jordan and Isaiah, and on their way to being a former couple Curtis and Portia? It certainly seems to make sense, because both pairs seem ready for a reset!
