General Hospital Spoilers: Is Outback The Dog A Lab Escapee-Will Anna Train It As A K9?

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease the beagle that Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) caught in the park for the baseball game might be a lab escapee!

The beagle, Emma named “Outback” could be from Professor Henry Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) lab, she wants to adopt it-might Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) train it as a K9?

Anna Was Not Thrilled At The Thought Of A Furry Roommate

Right now, Emma is living with Anna and Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) is staying with them as well, and when Emma said if Outback’s owner wasn’t found she would adopt him or her.

Anna didn’t look thrilled at the prospect of a furry roommate, but then perhaps she’d have preferred a Corgi like Queen Elizabeth always had! Emma had tried everything trying to find the beagle’s owner, she’d even taken it to the animal shelter to check for a chip-it wasn’t chipped. Outback appears to be fond of running off with items, like one of Gio’s gloves to start with, and when Emma came back, Outback grabbed Anna’s ball cap! Anna may think instead of Outback, a better name might be “Klepto”-she’s like a crow with something shiny, like the dog can’t keep herself from stealing!

Making The Best Of A Bad Situation?

Knowing her granddaughter is an animal rights activist, it may be difficult for Anna to say no to her adopting the presumed stray-the dog could have been dumped, for that matter.

Outback has definitely been around people, he or she didn’t grow up in the wild or anything like that, but doesn’t seem to be looking for anyone in particular.

Anna may decide if Outback is going to join the household, perhaps he or she should earn their keep, and considers K9 training.

It seems like a dog who’s attracted to gloves and hats, with the owners’ DNA and sent on them might make a good addition to the Port Charles Police Department. Emma, however, may take some convincing to let her pretty pooch be the canine version of a detective!

Could Outback Be A Lab Dog Escaped From Dalton’s Lab?

Anna-and Emma-consider that Outback could be a lab dog escaped from Dalton’s lab, and Emma agrees that an extensive veterinary checkup is probably in order.

Besides, if going to K9 training that’s a requirement anyway for a prospective police dog. They have to make sure the prospective K9 trainee is healthy, for one, and updated on all their required shots, such as rabies, and any other doggie ailments ruled out.

Anna and Emma agree if Outback was used for testing, it would show up in an extensive veterinary examination, and Anna will make it a point to discuss this with the vet.

The dog’s extensive examination may even provide some evidence which Anna sorely needs to investigate what Dalton is really up to-she knows the WSB wouldn’t have an interest for nothing!
