The Young And The Restless Melissa Ordway Suffers Through Scary Plot Twist During L.A. Trip

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Abby Newman-Abbott-Winters has seen it and done it all in the land of Genoa City and has dealt with some over-the-top plot twists in her day.

Still, her portrayer, Melissa Ordway, had a situation recently that caught her completely off guard, which felt like a page out of the Y&R’s storyline book.

Drama In L.A.

Ordway recently shared a real-life ordeal on her Instagram page. She, her hubby, Justin Gaston, and two daughters took a vacay to Los Angeles.

8The family engaged in some typical road trip activities like staying in a fun hotel, going to dinner, and making memories.

Still, an unlikely plot twist rocked the foursome to their core. Uploading some photos from her trip, Ordway wrote on her IG caption, “What a week in LA! Sunshine, good food, great friends, work, and yes—even a car break-in.” She went on to say, “Never a dull moment. We love you, LA! #lovela #losangeles #bts #sunshine #family.”

Fans & Y&R Co-Stars Rush To The Comments Section

Thankfully, it sounded like no one got hurt! With that said, some of Ordway’s Y&R colleagues and fans rushed to the comment section to offer their support.

Tracey Bregman (Lauren Fenmore) wrote, “Happy you were here and OMG, I’m so sorry!” While her onscreen husband, Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin), placed a number of fire emojis (likely toward the incredible photos Melissa posted), and Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Newman) placed multiple heart emojis in her comment.

Plenty of fans offered their best wishes, and many commented on how much Ordway is missed on The Young and the Restless.

On behalf of everyone here, we are glad that it was just a car break-in that the four suffered, and nothing worse happened to Melissa and her sweet family. It does seem like they had a fun trip to L.A. despite the drama.
