EJ Removed The Memory Card From The Planted Camera
EJ took the memory card from the camera hidden in the DiMera living room; the final image captured on that card shows Johnny pointing a gun at EJ from the entrance.
EJ remains unclear about the events of that night, as his memories are confused; despite experiencing troubling flashbacks and dreams involving a guilty Johnny, there is undoubtedly more to uncover.
In truth, Johnny likely appeared to unsettle EJ before leaving, setting the stage for another individual to emerge as EJ’s actual assailant.
Nonetheless, that footage appears highly damning, and Days spoilers indicate it will play a significant role, potentially leading to chaos. Still, EJ seems to want to conceal the memory card, and protect his son even if he tried to kill him!
EJ Asks His Assistant Rita To Hide The Card
In the May 2 episode, EJ called upon Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney) and urged her to conceal the memory card in a place that would remain undiscovered. Rita promised EJ that he could rely on her, but there’s a sense that trouble is on the horizon. Recently, Kristen has been pressing Rita for details about the whereabouts of Rachel Blake (Ros Gentle), but Rita has managed to keep her lips sealed.
It seems that Days is hinting at a potential mistake on Rita’s part and the growing influence of Kristen. Rita might not be as adept at hiding that memory card as she believes in the upcoming episodes.
Kristen Could Find The Card And Blackmail EJ With It
Kristen could stumble upon it and realize she holds a significant advantage. One can easily envision Kristen confronting EJ and threatening to hand the memory card over to the authorities if he doesn’t reveal her mother’s location.
Kristen may threaten to imprison Johnny unless EJ arranges a reunion with Rachel Blake.
Currently, EJ appears determined to safeguard Johnny, burdened by guilt for leading his son into such a dark situation. If Kristen resorts to blackmail and threatens to lock Johnny away, EJ will find himself in a precarious predicament.
What If Little Rachel Was The Shooter?
This storyline could take a surprising turn if Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) is found to be the one who shot EJ. After her therapy session, Rachel seemed unusually reserved, hinting that she might be hiding something.
