Saying Goodbye To John Black
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of May 26-30 note multiple characters will return to Salem, as John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) exit storyline winds down. As audiences saw on the Friday, May 23 episode, John got burnt during a lab explosion as he, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso), and Shawn-Douglas Brady (Brandon Beemer) were trying to snag that experimental medication to help save Bo Brady (Peter Reckell).
The late Drake Hogestyn lost his battle to pancreatic cancer in September 2024, but he exited the show before that due to his condition. This storyline will mark John’s exit from the soap, but before he passes on, a slew of characters will return to town to be by his side.
Christie Clark will reprise her role as Carrie Brady, while Chandler Massey returns as Will Horton. In addition, Greg Vaughan is back as Eric Brady. Sounds like next week will be an emotional one for fans of John and Days viewers, too. Speaking of John, Allan Wayne Anderson is currently playing the role of Black, as his face has not been displayed.
Marissa Reyes Update
As per the soap’s recent closing credits, Marissa Reyes, who plays Arianna “Ari” Horton, is officially on contract with the soap. The actress debuted during the week of May 19-23, making quite a splash by already hopping into bed with Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer)! How will Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) feel when she finds out about what her two friends have been up to? Fans will have to tune in to find out!
