Adarius Taylor, NFL Alum Leaves Unattended Child In Car, Arrested

Former NFL linebacker Adarius Taylor had a career with the Carolina Panthers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Cleveland Browns. However, he’s now in hot water with the law because he allegedly left his child alone in a hot car. This time of the year, it can be particularly dangerous to do that.

Hot Car, Abandoned Kid

TMZ reported that the child found in the car was just one of several offenses that the former sportsman committed on May 8. Allegedly, he hooked up for intimate relations with a prostitute. That was a setup by the cops. The hookup was never intended to happen, but he took the bait.

Next, he solicited again, and that meant he was in trouble. The outlet said, “things got worse for him when police said they discovered the boy in his car…” Citing the Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, the story noted that the official was not impressed by the former NFL player.

He said. “He shouldn’t have shown up in the first place, but to leave that child? My goodness…So he picked up a child neglect charge along with everything else.” Further information suggested that the child struggled with a medical condition, but was returned to its mother. 

Child Neglect Is A Serious Crime

Apart from the soliciting charges, Adarius Taylor could face harsh consequences. According to Hanlon Law, “In Florida, there are strict laws in place to protect children from abuse and neglect, with severe sanctions for those who violate these laws.” The arraignment for the sportsman will take place on June 10. 

Those people who saw the story on Instagram were not at all supportive of Adarius. One of them commented, “Dammit! Is sex that damn important. I’m just saying.”

A Sting Operation

Some followers argued that if the cops had not done a sting operation, then Adarius Taylor might have never neglected his child. However, others opined that that is a “slow” way of thinking. Any time a child is left alone in a hot car, it’s a bad thing.
