Ryan Edwards, Teen Mom: The Next Chapter Apologises To Bentley

Ryan Edwards and Maci Bookout from Teen Mom: The Next Chapter co-parent a son named Bentley. Recently, Bentley turned 16, and fans noticed that his dad was there. Now, he has apologized to his son for his earlier behavior.

The Apology On The Show

Bentley enjoyed a nice birthday with his dad. Many fans praised Ryan for stepping up and being a decent dad for a change. He proudly walked his son to the garage where a blue truck awaited as a gift.

Because of the birthday scenes, MTV fans already know that things improved between father and son. Still, it was a poignant moment when the troubled dad told his son he was sorry about his earlier behavior.

The Apology

Ryan Edwards, much like Jenelle Evans, who apologised to Jace last season, had a one-on-one session with his son. In it, he said:

You know for the longest I’ve not been in a good place you know. And there, for a while, your mama didn’t want us together alone at all. And I don’t blame her. It made me mad but I don’t blame her now. Yeah, it made me mad, but I don’t blame her now.

They also talked about how he and Maci welcomed their son when they were so young. But, he’s grateful now that everything is on a better footing.

Of course, any teen in that situation, especially in front of the cameras, would look a bit awkward. Anyway, they ended up having a hug.

Fans React  In The Comments

Teen Mom fans reacted in the comments on YouTube, and not all of them were kind. One of them wrote, “Great, now he needs to apologize to his other two kids for completely destroying the home they lived in. Recovery is about making ammends for ALL of your wrongs and apologizing to EVERYONE you hurt during active addiction.”

However, others were a bit kinder about Ryan Edwards. Here are few more reactions:
